The SOAP Web Service Event component is used to host any SOAP and WSDL-based web service on the MD Link server. You supply a WSDL and select a port and operation from that WSDL. Using Jython scripts, you can process incoming requests from a web service client. Then with MD Link's datamapping facilities, you can pass data to tasks connected downstream.
